Sydney Cellar Door

Date: Friday 27th February - Sunday 1st March

It’s an enticing combination - good food and wine enjoyed in an idyllic outdoor setting. Add winemakers from all over NSW, some of the hottest names on the Sydney dining scene and excellent tunes provided by both DJs and live bands and you’ve got Sydney Cellar Door.

A wealth of cellar doors will pop-up in Hyde Park for this weekend of regional delights. They’ll be joined by some of our best restaurants, growers and artisans, featuring beautiful regional produce on their stalls and menus. Favourites Salt Meats Cheese, Porteno and Bodega return. They’ll be joined by Sydney Cellar Door first timers - Sydney's favourite burger stop Mary’s, along with Newtown locals, Bloodwood and Rosebery’s Clubhouse Bar and Restaurant.

Tour the regions of New South Wales including Hunter Valley, Southern Highlands, Canberra District, Riverina, Taste Orange and Hilltops.

Lovedale Long Lunch 2015

This Hunter Valley event is a progressive-style lunch where food and wine lovers can feast and dance around seven lovedale wineries over the third weekend in May each year.
These Lovedale wineries team with local Hunter Valley restaurants for a weekend of fine wine, gourmet food and live entertainment.

Since 1995 a highlight in our calendar at Allandale has been Strings in the Winery, with Paul Goodchild on trumpet and in Bacchus Sinfonietta which includes musicians from the strings section of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. This is a very refined event of exceptional food, wine and classical music - always a sell out and a truly magical night. Who could forget the haunting sound of 'The Last Post' being played by Paul Goodchild on his trumpet in the vineyard for Remembrance Day in November 2003?
