Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival

The second Hunter valley Wine Festival will take place on Saturday 11th October, being the weekend following the Labour day long weekend, within the grounds of the picturesque Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. A Schwartz Family Company initiative, this community event will be one to remember. With an extensive array of wine, food, beer and cider on offer, festival goers will be spoilt for choice as is always the case with a true Hunter Valley Experience.


Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show

When: Friday 17th - Sunday 19th October 2014
Where: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre Merivale St, South Brisbane

The wait is over as Brisbane is set to become the centre of the food & wine universe over a dynamic three day weekend from 17 – 19 October at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Celebrate wines from around Australia at the Riedel A+ Australian Wine Bar, rub shoulders with famed sommeliers and vintners at the Riedel Wine Theatre or relax with a cold one in the Grazing Garden with famed food trucks. Get up-close and personal with your favourite iconic chefs at LifeStyle FOOD Chef's Table; and impress your friends with your newly found culinary skills after taking part in Zumbarons Masterclass with Adriano Zumbo.

Vino Paradiso

Step into a magical world of wine & food, music, art and interactive happenings. Vino Paradiso is a three-day celebration of the world’s best wine, food, craft beer, cider and spirits.

Wander through pop-up bars, stalls and alleyways and you’ll discover surprising happenings, music, art and irresistible entertainment around each turn. Jump in for some Grape Crushing, a Treasure Hunt, VP Masters, competitions, giveaways, and the Instagram Photo Booth. The idea is to eat, drink and be merry, with plenty of opportunity to kick back and taste incredible wine and food at Paradise Park, the buzzing lounge area at the heart of the event. When it’s all over, you can pick up the exciting drinks and food you’ve discovered and take them home to do it all again.


Tastes at the Bay

Where: d'Albora Marinas Nelson Bay foreshore, Nelson Bay

The spectacular waterfront at d'Albora Marinas on the Nelson Bay foreshore will host local fine food restaurants, wineries and craft beer from the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens regions along with music to make your day on four free entertainment stages. This major culinary event also offers a selection of interesting activities in Apex Park, adjacent to d'Albora Marinas including a classic car show and children's amusements and market stalls on the Nelson Bay Foreshore.


Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral

Lovedale Long Lunch 2015

16th & 17th May 2015 (...always the third weekend in May!)

This Hunter Valley event is a progressive-style lunch where food and wine lovers can feast and dance around seven lovedale wineries over the third weekend in May each year.
These Lovedale wineries team with local Hunter Valley restaurants for a weekend of fine wine, gourmet food and live entertainment.

Get a group of friends together, stay in Lovedale accommodation, book a bus tour and enjoy a fun and relaxing weekend away at the Hunter Valley's most unmissable food and wine event of 2015.

Since 1995 a highlight in our calendar at Allandale has been Strings in the Winery, with Paul Goodchild on trumpet and in Bacchus Sinfonietta which includes musicians from the strings section of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. This is a very refined event of exceptional food, wine and classical music - always a sell out and a truly magical night. Who could forget the haunting sound of 'The Last Post' being played by Paul Goodchild on his trumpet in the vineyard for Remembrance Day in November 2003?
